“ La Pinta @la_pinta_reservoir - Housemade sourdough $5 - Saucisson sec + kangaroo salami $12 - Beef heart skewer $12 ⭐ - Smoked girello, white sauce, horseradish $14 ⭐ - Ricotta spoia lorda, mushroom $26⭐ - White sausage $18 ⭐ - Dairy cow rib-eye, parsnips, leaves 450g $85 ⭐ - Basque cheesecake $7 ⭐ - Chacolate torta $9 - Date & butterscotch cake $9 - Filter coffee $2 - 2021 Calabretta Gaio Gaio Vino Rosso $84 I’m slowly venturing out to the north side and I regret not doing that sooner. La Pinta is def one that you need to check out. It is a Spanish tapas style wine bar. Food was absolutely gorgeous and decently priced. I’m not a big fan of entrails but the beef heart was delicious, with a hint of cumin. Their pasta is a must order. Al dente stuffed pasta served with a creamy mushroom sauce. The ribeye was beautifully cooked. We ended our meal with 3 desserts and a $2 filter coffee. Loved their desserts especially the basque cheese cake. It was the lightest I have had. They change their menu quite often and walk ins only for groups less than 5. Can’t wait for my next visit. ”
“ Had a lovely evening at La Pinta. Very cosy place and as previous reviews have said, great service. We had 6 of the small share plates: bread (awesome), olives, smoked beef w horseradish (delicious), split pea dip, octopus (we didn’t like the seasoning) and beet salad (amazing as previous reviewer said). Plus Tinto de Verano drink (one of my favs from Spain). Dishes were ok size and had enough for a light meal. Would recommend you try it but definitely don’t come starving. Nice for a catch up with friends ”
“ We had a beautiful evening at La Pinta with a group of friends - the food was magnificent, cocktails delicious and the staff very attentive. We had a few dietary reqs to work around, which were well accommodated. The banquet was very generous. I highly recommend this place for a special night out. ”
“ Such a gorgeous place with a unique menu and style of service. Tapas style best describes it with super unique, exceptional flavors. Wine was great too but not your classic Shiraz, Chardonnay range - more international range. Sitting outside was a little uncomfortable without back rests but the indoor seats looked lovely. Service was friendly and adequate, they were so helpful calling us when a table became available. Menu changes regularly we were told so we’re super keen to come back! ”
